More than 100 years ago, the port of Zeebrugge was inaugurated. Today it is a world port that continues to work on accessibility by putting innovation and technology to good use. The port also wanted to exploit its own network to external users. ICO specializes in the handling and storage of roll-on/roll-off cargo, requiring communication systems across multiple terminals. That's where Citymesh came in.After several engaging discussions, site assessments and testing phases, Citymesh developed a highly suitable communications solution for ICO. Using a mix of Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) and Long-Term Evolution (LTE) technologies integrated via local gateways, Citymesh successfully met ICO's operational requirements.
