At large-scale events, thousands of visitors can quickly overwhelm public mobile networks. When every second counts, unreliable connectivity puts critical communications at risk. Citymesh deploys a private 5G standalone network as part of the 5G C3 project. Together with Anykrowd and Nevron, we transform high-performance connectivity into a proactive safety ecosystem for festivals and mass gatherings.Â
Instant Reporting Through Smart Connectivity
Anykrowd adds an intelligent layer to the Citymesh infrastructure, enabling crew members and visitors to act as extra eyes on the ground. Through the app, anyone can report an incident with its exact location, time, and priority level.
Automated eSIM onboarding makes it easy to connect to the network. When an incident is marked as urgent, the network automatically gives priority to the alert and ensures emergency teams have the connectivity they need, even when public networks are overloaded. Dedicated network capacity also ensures reliable connectivity for critical users and services.
Centralised Control and Seamless Communication
Every urgent notification reaches the event control centre through Nevron’s mission control platform, providing a real-time overview of incidents across the venue. Operators can locate incidents on a map and dispatch the nearest response team within seconds.
All devices connect to the same network, including phones running the festival app, devices used at bars and food trucks, stewards’ phones, and other connected devices. This ensures the right message reaches the right people, whether that means alerting the crew, the visitors, or everyone at once.
Together, Citymesh, Anykrowd, and Nevron combine connectivity, real-time incident management, and intelligent communication to support safer large-scale events.
