In May 2025, Citymesh has transferred its Inspect Drones activities to an independent entity: DroneDivision. This organization specializes in inspections, measurements and inventories via robotic solutions such as drones.
DroneDivision will be completely separate from the Citymesh group. The transition was carefully prepared in close cooperation between the two teams and the separation will allow DroneDivision to focus even more strongly on high-quality drone inspection services. Ongoing projects will continue unchanged and customers can still turn to the same contact persons.
With this divestment, Citymesh is strengthening its strategic focus on BVLOS solutions (Beyond Visual Line of Sight – drones with remote pilots). In 2025, Citymesh already recorded strong growth in this branch, with applications for critical communications, disaster intervention and public safety. Hundreds of flights in cooperation with emergency services have already been carried out. In addition, customers are of course still at the right place for innovative network infrastructure and connectivity services at Citymesh.
