Lot 1: LAN network infrastructure

The City of Bruges has awarded the LAN network infrastructure lot within the ICT infrastructure framework agreement to Inetum, with Citymesh as partner. This framework agreement offers all qualified participants the opportunity to purchase LAN infrastructure, including switches, embedded tools, monitoring and management software, installation, configuration, and support, directly from Citymesh and Inetum, without the need for a separate public tender.

The framework agreement has a term of six years and represents a potential value of €50 million.

Qualified participants

The following entities are entitled to make use of this framework agreement:

Bruges Group
  • City and OCMW Bruges and all welfare associations
  • Local Police Bruges
  • All autonomous municipal companies linked to the City of Bruges/OCMW Bruges/Local Police Bruges
  • All internally and externally privatized entities linked to the City of Bruges/OCMW Bruges/Local Police Bruges
  • Education organized by the City of Bruges
Local authorities in Flanders
  • All local authorities located in the Flemish Region, including:
  • The 300 Flemish cities, municipalities, and public social welfare centers (OCMWs)
  • Newly merged entities or partnerships (such as reference regions)
  • Municipal/public social welfare centers or autonomous care institutions under public law
  • Privatized urban entities (AGBs, urban non-profit organizations, non-profit organizations of welfare associations, urban/municipal education)
Other Flemish public entities
  • The districts
  • The provinces
  • Local police zones
Existing customers from previous framework agreements City of Bruges

All entities that already used the framework agreement “ICT Purchasing Center – City of Bruges and other entities (2018)” and have reconfirmed their interest.

  • Embedded monitoring and management tools
  • Associated management and monitoring software
  • Installation, configuration, and commissioning
  • Consultancy and technical support
